Summer Open House

The scaffolding is gone and our preservation is complete! Come enjoy a walk through the House and take an up-close look at our new slate roof and fresh coat of exterior paint.

The W.H. Stark House invites you to join us for the first open house of the year on Saturday, June 4 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Admission is free and timed tickets are available upon arrival (times may not be booked in advance). The open house features a walk through the first and second floors of the home. Groups with children under the ages of 6 or with limited mobility will have access to the first floor only. The House is not wheelchair or stroller accessible and still requires climbing steps up to the porch.

Summer Reading Festival

Miriam presents, A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare

Join us as we explore the world of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream! Register to attend this FREE, interactive event for the whole family. Registrants will meet characters from the play, visit activity stations, stop for photo-ops, and leave with their own age-appropriate copy of the story.

Registration begins Tuesday, May 31 @ 9:00 a.m.

Friday, July 22 – 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.

Hands On History

Come with your little learners and enjoy hands-on activities and an interactive look inside The W.H. Stark House. This FREE program is designed for children ages 5 – 9 and their parents.

Saturday, August 27 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Pop over to the The W.H. Stark House during SMA Family Day and enjoy a free walk through the First Floor with the whole family! No registration required, all ages welcome
