Family Day

Experience what it was like growing up in The W.H. Stark House like our young H.J. “Lutcher” Stark. Learn about the family and home through the perspective of young Lutcher during a walk-through of the first and second floors of The W.H. Stark House and enjoy vintage games in the Carriage House and Grounds.

• Sack Races

• Fun for All Ages

*Timed tickets are available on arrival at the Carriage House. Groups with small children, or limited mobility, are encouraged to visit the first floor.

First Floor Fridays: Experience history in a brilliant way!

Join us for First Floor Fridays and step into history at the first floor and grounds of The W.H. Stark House. In addition, experience the debut of “Brilliant: Cut Glass from The W.H. Stark House,” featuring American Brilliant Cut Glass made from 1876 to 1917 that was collected by Miriam Lutcher Stark and is on view now on the second floor of the Carriage House.

Entry is FREE and open to the public.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (last entry at 1:30 p.m.) 

Materials for a self-guided experience are provided for all visitors. Underwritten by the Stark Foundation, timed tickets are available at the Carriage House on a first-come, first-served basis. This experience is appropriate for individuals and groups no larger than six people. There are no age restrictions, but visitors must be able to climb stairs to access the house entrance and second floor exhibit. These spaces are not wheelchair or stroller accessible.
