About The W.H. Stark House:
The W.H. Stark House is an 1894 Queen Anne style home located in downtown Orange, Texas. The 14,000 square foot house stands as it did at the turn of the 20th century, with 15 rooms containing the Stark family's original furnishings and decorative art. Today, The W.H. Stark House tells the story of the early beginnings of Orange and the lumber dynasty that once occupied the banks of the Sabine River. Visitors can experience The W.H. Stark House during guided tours, open house events and other programs held throughout the year.
